 Sorella is a part of the Acquerello Family, a group of passionate people who are dedicated to creating incredible food and beverage experiences.

Culinary Director Seth Turiansky oversees Sorella’s kitchen, with support from Acquerello Chef/Owner Suzette Gresham, who earned one of the very first Michelin stars awarded to San Francisco restaurants when Michelin issued its first Bay Area guide in 2007. Gracious service comes courtesy of General Manager Emily Gilliom, the wine program is overseen by Acquerello Wine Director Gianpaolo Paterlini, and Acquerello Owner Giancarlo Paterlini provides the deep insight of a seasoned veteran restaurateur.

Sorella (‘sister’ in Italian) is a casual restaurant and bar from the team behind San Francisco’s two-Michelin-star Acquerello. Grounded in tradition but contemporary in style, Sorella translates the spirit of Italy into a vibrant, modern experience that is warm, welcoming, and above all, delicious. Pasta is the star of the menu, but there are plenty of options beyond flour and water. Start with antipasto and enjoy primi before feasting on pastasecondi, contorni, and dolci. At the bar you’ll find craft cocktails infused with Italian flavors, all manner of amaro, and regional Italian wines.
